Esta es la traducción al español de Designio Divino y Predestinación, Volumen 8 y último de la Serie de la Creencia Islámica, que aborda el pilar de fe más frecuentemente confundido con el fatalismo: la creencia en Al-Qadar, el decreto de Alá. ¿Significa creer que todo ocurre dentro del decreto de Alá que el musulmán no tiene decisiones reales que tomar? Al-Ashqar responde directamente a esta pregunta, apoyándose en el Qur’an, la Sunnah y las palabras de grandes eruditos como Ibn Taymiyyah, y repasando los debates históricos dentro de la Ummah sobre hasta dónde llega el libre albedrío humano dentro del decreto divino.
