Dar-us-Salam Publications is the official USA branch of Darussalam Publishers, a multilingual international Islamic publishing house headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since 1994, we have served as a trusted source of authentic Islamic books and products in Houston and beyond. Our store’s name, Dar-us-Salam (“Abode of Peace”), reflects our family-owned mission to help Muslims connect with their faith and strive for Jannah. We fulfill this mission by offering only Qur’an- and Sunnah-based materials of the highest scholarly standard.
History and Location
Dar-us-Salam began in 1994 as a small Houston Islamic bookstore, and we launched our online store (dar-us-salam.com) in 1995. In 1998 we relocated to our current showroom at 1111 Conrad Sauer Drive in Houston. Over the years, our website and store have undergone several redesigns and upgrades to improve the shopping experience. Today, we combine this long history with modern service: fast next-business-day shipping, convenient online ordering, and attentive customer support.
Products and Services
We maintain a carefully curated collection of Islamic literature and related products. Our inventory includes Qur’ans, Hadith collections, works on Aqidah (creed), Fiqh (Islamic law), SÄ«rah (Prophetic biography), Islamic history, and extensive children’s and youth series. In addition to books, we offer a wide range of Islamic lifestyle items: modest apparel for men, women, and children; prayer rugs and caps; Arabic-learning toys and games; attar perfumes and incense; and Islamic art and home décor. All of our products meet rigorous standards of authenticity and quality. We ship worldwide from our Houston warehouse and welcome both retail and wholesale orders.
