This is the Spanish translation of Selected Fatawa for Women. The role Muslim women play in the world has grown, and with it the number of situations where a woman needs to know the ruling and has nobody convenient to ask. Darussalam produced this booklet for that gap: reliable answers, in her hands, on the questions that actually come up.
Question and Answer
The rulings appear as fatawa — each one issued in response to a real question, from the highest scholarly sources. That format matters. A woman with a specific situation can find the case that matches hers and read the answer, rather than working her way through a chapter of general principles and hoping her circumstance falls under one of them.
What It Covers
The subjects are those bound up with daily routine and the acts of worship: purification and prayer, fasting, questions of dress and covering, conduct within the family and outside it, and the ordinary matters of household and social life where a woman wants to know she is on firm ground. The scope is deliberately practical. This is not a treatise on the status of women, and it does not argue a case. It answers questions.

Este es el folleto Fatawas Seleccionadas para la Mujer, una recopilación de dictámenes islamámicos (fatawas) dirigidos específicamente a las preguntas que una mujer musulmana enfrenta en su vida diaria. Cada respuesta procede de las fuentes académicas más reconocidas y cubre temas como la purificación, la oración, el ayuno, la vestimenta y la conducta dentro y fuera de la familia. En lugar de presentar una teoría general sobre la mujer en el Islam, el libro responde directamente a las situaciones concretas que surgen en la vida cotidiana. Es breve y económico, por lo que resulta útil para círculos de estudio, escuelas islámicas y biblioteca de la mezquita.
