This is the Spanish edition of Islamic Rulings on the Fortune-Teller and Sorcerer, which addresses a specific consequence of a materialist, secular age: people who no longer place their trust and faith in the Creator instead place it in His creation — magicians, fortune-tellers, sorcerers and folk healers — believing they can grant happiness and wealth.

La alabanza es de Alá. Aquel a quien Alá guía, nadie podrá desviar, y aquel a quien Alá permite desviarse, nadie podrá guiar. Atestiguo que no existe otra deidad excepto Alá y que Muhammad es Su siervo y mensajero. Nuestra sociedad actual está basada en el secularismo y el materialismo, por lo que muchos han trasladado su fe y confianza del Creador a Su creación — magos, adivinos, hechiceros, curanderos — pensando que estos les pueden dar felicidad y riqueza en este mundo. Alá en el Noble Qur’an y el Profeta Muhammad ﷺ en sus auténticas tradiciones han dicho claramente que quienes buscan ayuda en otro que no sea Alá son los perdedores.
