This is the Spanish translation of Bulugh Al-Maram — the book from which Islamic jurisprudence is taught, and the one a student of fiqh is usually given first.
What Ibn Hajar Did
He gathered the Ahadith of the Prophet ﷺ that serve as the sources of Islamic jurisprudence, recorded their true significance and their origins, and — where a narration appears in more than one collection — compared the versions against one another. That last step is what separates this from a simple compilation.
The Notes
This edition carries brief notes drawn from Subul-us-Salam, the classical commentary on Bulugh Al-Maram by As-San’ani — enough to open up a difficult narration without turning the book into a multi-volume work.

Esta es la traducción al español de Bulugh Al-Maram (El Alcance de lo Deseado), la obra de Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani a partir de la cual se enseña tradicionalmente la jurisprudencia islámica y el primer libro que suele recibir un estudiante de fiqh. Ibn Hajar reunió los hadices que constituyen las fuentes del derecho islámico, registró su significado y procedencia, y comparó las distintas versiones cuando una narración aparece en más de una colección — un paso que distingue esta obra de una simple recopilación. Esta edición incluye además breves notas tomadas de Subul-us-Salam, el comentario clásico de As-San’ani, suficientes para aclarar una narración difícil sin convertir el libro en una obra de varios volúmenes. Es, a pesar de su reputación académica, un libro sencillo de leer.
