This is the Spanish translation of Kitab At-Tauhid — the Book of Islamic Monotheism — the work by which Shaykh-ul-Islam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab is best known, and the book most commonly set as the first serious text in Aqeedah. Its method is what makes it endure: the Shaykh states a principle, then lets the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah carry the argument.
What Tawheed Actually Requires
The book works through the three categories of Islamic monotheism: Tawheed ar-Rububiyyah (oneness of Lordship), Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah (oneness of worship), and Tawheed al-Asma was-Sifat (oneness of Names and Attributes). Most of the book concerns the second category, examining the specific things that break or weaken Tawheed — major and minor shirk, directing supplication to the dead, amulets and charms, and excess in praising the righteous.
Who It Is For
This is a study text, not a light read — short but dense, and it rewards being taken slowly, ideally with a teacher or a commentary alongside it.

Esta es la traducción al español de Kitab At-Tawḥíd (El Libro del Monoteísmo Islámico), la obra por la que más se conoce al Shaykh-ul-Islam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab, y el texto que habitualmente se estudia primero en Aqeedah. Su método es lo que la hace perdurar: el Shaykh expone un principio y deja que el Qur’an y la Sunnah auténtica sustenten el argumento, con muy poca voz propia del autor. El libro recorre las tres categorías del Tawheed — la unicidad del Señorío, la unicidad de la adoración y la unicidad de los Nombres y Atributos — y dedica la mayor parte del texto a la segunda categoría, examinando lo que debilita o rompe el Tawheed: el shirk mayor y menor, invocar a los muertos, los amuletos y el exceso al alabar a los piadosos.
