Tafseer Ahsan-ul-Kalaam is a summarized version of the Noble Quran with tafsir drawn from three of the most authoritative sources in the tradition — Sahih Bukhari, Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir Al-Qurtubi.
The Page Layout
The right side of every page carries the Arabic in Uthmani script — the standard printing used at the Haramain. The left side carries the Farsi translation, with commentary supplied where a passage needs it.
That arrangement is what makes an edition like this genuinely usable. A reader recites from the right-hand page exactly as he would from an ordinary mushaf, and looks left when he wants to know what he has just read.
Why Summarized Commentary Works
A full tafsir of the Quran runs to many volumes and, for most readers, never gets finished. A condensed commentary sitting on the same page as the verse gets consulted every time it is needed — which over a year amounts to considerably more understanding than a multi-volume set on a shelf.
