Preserving our Islamic identity in Western society demands that Muslim communities be strong, self-supporting and unified. The only way to achieve such communities is by conducting our affairs with one another in the pure, righteous manner outlined in the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Because manners are what a child is actually being tested on, every day, at school and at home — and because conduct is where Islamic identity either becomes visible or does not.

A young person who believes correctly and behaves badly gives everyone around him a reason to dismiss what he believes. The reverse is also true, and considerably more powerful.
