My Tawheed Book is a charming, small, full-color illustrated paperback designed to instill in young hearts the fundamental Islamic belief in the Oneness of Allah (Tawheed). Authored and illustrated by Abu Zahir, this 22-page guide uses vivid imagery and gentle language to make the concept of Tawheed both accessible and engaging for children
The book stresses that Tawheed is not merely a concept but the foundation of faith. Without a sound understanding of Allah’s Oneness, one’s actions lack spiritual benefit, both in this world and the Hereafter. Through simple explanations and relatable scenarios, it impresses upon young readers that the Messengers were sent solely to teach this truth—a truth that, once firmly established in the heart, transforms worship into meaningful devotion
Praised by parents for its clarity and effectiveness—one reviewer notes, “My children like this book”—My Tawheed Book makes learning Aqeedah a delightful and spiritually enriching journey. As studied from Dar-us-Salam’s trusted catalog, it has become a beloved tool for early Islamic education, laying a strong theological foundation upon which the rest of the faith is built
Note to Parents
All Praise be to Allah. This book intends to teach the Muslim child a basic understanding of Tawheed. The importance of the correct belief with certainty in the Oneness of Allah is called Tawheed.
If a person's belief is not correct, then his whole faith and all his actions will not benefit him in this life nor in the hereafter. A great part of the Quran refers to Tawheed. All the Messengers were sent to call people to Tawheed and to correct their misguided beliefs about Allah.
Once Tawheed is established in a child's heart, all the actions of his heart, tongue, and limbs in worshiping Allah will be meaningful rather than just ritual. We ask Allah to guide our hearts to the correct understanding of Tawheed and to preserve it.
