Why Makkah on Its Own

Because the two halves of the Prophet's ﷺ life feel different, and a small child cannot hold both at once.

The Makkan years are the years of being one man with a message almost nobody accepted — the first revelation, the early believers, the mockery, the boycott, the loss of Khadijah رضي الله عنها and Abu Talib, and Ta'if. Told on their own, they leave a child with a clear impression of patience under difficulty before the story turns.

How It Is Made

Easy to read and easy to follow, with pictures throughout for little children to enjoy while they learn about the beloved Prophet ﷺ. Abu Zahir writes and illustrates the series, which keeps the words and the images working together rather than in parallel.
