The Two Unusual Features

The Arabic vocabulary is the second, and almost nobody else includes it. A pilgrim spends two weeks among people who mostly do not share his language, needing to ask directions, understand an announcement, or explain a problem. A page of the right words is worth a great deal at that moment.
