Sunan An-Nasa'i (6 Vol. Set)

For the first time ever in English, after years of painstaking effort at Dar-us-Salam.

Imam An-Nasa'i applied criteria in selecting narrations that many scholars consider the strictest of the four Sunan works, which is why his collection contains the fewest weak Ahadith after Bukhari and Muslim.

What is published here is Al-Mujtaba, also called as-Sunan as-Sughra — the shorter work he distilled from a much larger collection, keeping what met his standard.

He was known for a severity toward narrators that was notable even in a discipline built on scrutiny.

The Dar-us-Salam Standard

As with the other translations of the six books of hadith, great care has been taken over accurate translation, clear modern English, and high-quality production.

Ahadith are followed by comments explaining the issues raised and helping readers derive the lessons — which is what separates a usable translation from a bare one. Additional features have been added to help readers get the most from the collection.
