What Makes a Good Give-Away Book

Three things, and this has all of them.

Short, so it gets finished. A person handed a substantial book at a stall puts it down at home and never opens it.

Illustrated, so it gets picked up at all. Someone with no prior interest will look at pictures before he will read dense text.

Cheap enough to give without thinking, which is the requirement most material fails. A da'wah book that costs enough to hesitate over is a book that stays in the box.

Who Buys It

Masjid da'wah committees, campus Islamic societies running awareness weeks, prison and hospital chaplaincy, and individuals who keep a few in the car.
