About the Author
Shaykh 'Abd ar-Rahman ibn Nasir as-Sa'di (1307–1376 AH / 1889–1957 CE) was one of the foremost scholars of Najd in the twentieth century. Born in 'Unayzah in the al-Qasim region, he memorized the Qur'an as a young boy and devoted his life to seeking and teaching knowledge, becoming a leading authority in tafsir, 'aqidah, fiqh, and the Arabic sciences. Among those who studied under him was the celebrated Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-'Uthaymeen.
