Al-Qur'an, the Guidance for Mankind, is a translation of the Holy Quran into contemporary American English by Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik.
This edition has only the English translation, grouped in sections and by similar subjects. The book begins from the left and reads to the right.

What Makes This Translation Different
Two things, and both are unusual.
Contemporary American English. Most English translations of the Quran use an archaic register — thee, thou, inverted syntax — inherited from the King James Bible. That was a deliberate choice by earlier translators, meant to convey solemnity, and for a modern American reader it puts a layer of unfamiliarity between him and the meaning.
Grouped by subject. The verses are arranged into thematic sections rather than presented as a continuous run. That helps a reader follow the argument of a passage, which is difficult when every verse is set as a separate numbered line.
Who It Suits
Readers new to the Quran, particularly American ones, and anyone who has found other translations hard going for reasons of language rather than content. It is also a common choice for da'wah, since it reads naturally to someone with no religious background.
