Everything starts here. Adam عليه السلام was the first human being Allah created, the first to be taught, and the first Prophet — which makes this the book to begin the series with even though each stands alone.
Told in rhyme for young children: his creation, the angels commanded to prostrate, the refusal of Iblis and the reason he gave, the garden, the mistake, and the mercy that followed it.
That last part is the one children take away. Adam عليه السلام erred, turned back to his Lord, and was forgiven — which is the pattern every human being after him has been living inside.
Simple full-color illustrations accompany rhyming poetry that is fun to read aloud and surprisingly easy to remember — which is the point. A child who has heard a story in verse a dozen times can recite parts of it back, and what he can recite he retains.
Each book carries an "Islamictionary": a simplified children's glossary explaining the Arabic and Islamic words as they appear. That single feature is why the books work in non-Arabic-speaking households, where a parent reading aloud otherwise has to stop and improvise a definition.
