The format of this Quran allows the Ummah to easily identify the words of Allah in relevance to the topic at hand. All ayat related to a certain topic have been gathered under that topic heading.
Each ayah is translated into English and into Urdu, and the book carries an index at either end — so Arabic, Urdu and English readers can each find the subject they are looking for.
What This Solves
A question that everyone has and almost nobody can answer quickly: what does the Quran say about this?
The Quran is not arranged by subject. Verses on patience, on wealth, on parents, on justice are distributed across a hundred and fourteen surahs, and finding them means either knowing them already or working through a concordance.
Gathering them under headings turns that from a research task into a lookup. For a khateeb preparing a khutbah, a teacher building a lesson, or anyone answering a question honestly, that is a considerable saving.
Why Two Indexes Matter
Because a book indexed only in English is closed to the Urdu-reading half of a household. Indexing from both covers means one volume serves everyone — and in South Asian families in the West, that is frequently three generations reading different languages.
Who It Is For
Imams, khateebs, teachers and students. Also anyone who has been asked what Islam says about something and wanted to answer from the source rather than from memory.
