These 9-line Indo-Pak/Persian script paras of the Quran have a large bold font and clear writing. They are excellent for children who are beginning to read the Quran.
Because Juz 'Amma gets shorter as you go. Surah An-Naba at the start runs to forty verses; An-Nas at the end has six.
A child starting at the beginning meets the hardest surah first and often stalls. Starting from An-Nas and working backwards means he begins with something he can finish in a sitting, and the surahs lengthen as his ability does.
It is also the order in which children naturally memorize, so the book matches what he is already learning.
A full mushaf is heavy, expensive and discouraging for a small child. A single para is thin, cheap enough to replace when it gets damaged, and produces the satisfaction of finishing a whole book.
