Maqdis Quran Word-by-Word Tajweed (Medium B5)

Al-Quran Al-Kareem Maqdis is a word-by-word translation learning method, with every word and sentence colored differently, in Arabic and English.

This edition is B5 medium, 7 x 10 in — the balance most people settle on — large enough that the color coding and the word glosses stay clear, small enough to carry.

Two Systems on One Page

This is the unusual thing about the Maqdis mushaf, and the reason it has a following: it does word-by-word translation and color-coded tajweed simultaneously.

Most editions do one or the other. Here a reader can see how a word should be pronounced and what it means at the same moment — which is exactly the position a learner is in, needing both and normally having to consult two books.

Similar in character to the Saheeh International rendering: clear, contemporary English without archaic phrasing.
