An unusual and valuable edition: three columns on every page, giving the Arabic alongside two translations.

Why Mandar

Mandar — also called Andian or Manjar — is an Austronesian language spoken by the Mandar people of West Sulawesi. It is a regional language with a substantial Muslim population and almost no Islamic literature of its own.

Pairing it with Indonesian is a practical decision: a Mandar speaker reads the national language too, and having both allows him to check one against the other.

The Publisher

Authenticated and printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah, which is the standard by which translation editions are measured.
