Why Islam is Our Only Choice is a compilation of first-hand narratives from people who came to Islam later in life. They are drawn deliberately from every kind of background: scientists and researchers, intellectuals and writers, professionals, nobles and dignitaries, decorated figures and ordinary people with no public standing at all.
What Each Account Contains
The narratives are not simply conversion announcements. Each one sets out where the person started — the beliefs they held, the objections they carried, the assumptions they had absorbed about Islam — and then traces what changed. Some describe an intellectual turning point, a question their previous framework could not answer. Others describe a Muslim they met, a passage of the Qur'an they read, or a long period of quiet study. The impressions they record of Islam once inside it are often the most striking part.
Why the Variety Matters
A single conversion story invites the obvious dismissal — that this person was unusual, or vulnerable, or looking for something. Thirty of them from thirty different starting points does not. A physicist and a labourer do not arrive by the same road, and reading both makes the point more effectively than any argument could.
