Surah Ya Sin is the 36th chapter of the Noble Quran, and it holds a particular place among Muslims — frequently described in the tradition as the Heart of the Quran for its emphasis on divine guidance, the oneness of Allah, and the truth of the Resurrection.
This is the edition for anyone who cannot yet read the Arabic script, or who wants to understand what he is reciting.
The transliteration lets a reader recite the actual Arabic words today rather than waiting until his reading improves. The English translation means he knows what he is saying — which matters especially for a surah recited as often as this one, frequently by people who have never learned its meaning.
