The cutwork version of our standard cotton rug, and the difference is in the construction rather than the pattern.

What Double Layer Means

Two layers of cotton rather than one. That gives a noticeably softer surface under the knees and forehead, and it is what allows the cutwork — the design is cut through the top layer so the second shows through it.

It also wears better. A single-layer rug thins at the sujud point after a few years of daily use; two layers take considerably longer.

Amazing prayer rug. Once you get this one, you don't want to consider other less expensive ones. This rug is beautiful in its colors, design, and most importantly, quality. Don't waste money in cheap rugs. This one is VERY good.

To say that I'm impressed with this product is an understatement. When I opened the box, I was greeted with the lush fringe and beautiful fabric. I am happily surprised with how large this rug is! Other prayer rugs I've seen are smaller, and I was worried about this. I'm a pretty large fellow, so I appreciate how large this rug is.
