وستّة هي التي يجب على المسلم اعتقادها، وأكثر الناس يعدّونها، وقليل منهم من يبيّن ما يقتضيه كل ركن منها، وما الذي ينقضه.
ويعرض الكتاب الإيمان بالله ووحدانيته، وبالملائكة، وبالكتب المنزلة، وبالرسل، وباليوم الآخر، وبالقدر خيره وشرّه — كل ذلك بأدلته من القرآن والحديث الصحيح لا من رأي المؤلف، فيستطيع القارئ أن يتحقق لا أن يسلّم.
