The Seerah has been written a thousand times for adults. Written for a child, it usually loses either the accuracy or the interest.
It is adapted from Muhr-e-Nubuwwat, itself the short form of Qadi Muhammad Sulaiman Salman Mansurpuri's larger and well-known work on the life of the Prophet ﷺ, Rahmatul-lil-'Alamin.
That lineage is the reason to prefer it. This is a scholar's Seerah reduced twice over rather than a children's book written from scratch — so what a child gets is short, but it is the real thing.
The text is set in a larger type font to help children grasp the contents — a small production decision that determines whether a young reader stays with a page or gives up on it.
The publisher's own recommendation is worth passing on: parents should put this among the books given to children in their early stages of learning, and it belongs in the syllabus of English-medium schools, so that children form an impression of the Prophet's ﷺ life early.
