This edition is a extra large hardcover with fine paper, 609 pages.
Why the Border Layout Is Unusual and Good
The Arabic occupies the page as a complete 15-line mushaf, exactly as an Arabic-only copy would, with the English translation set around the borders and footnotes beneath.
That means the Arabic side is fully usable for recitation and memorization — the page breaks fall where they do in every other 15-line mushaf — while the translation stays within reach on the same page.
Interleaved bilingual editions cannot do this. Once the English interrupts the Arabic, the page structure is gone and with it the ability to memorize from the copy.
About the Saheeh International Translation
Saheeh International checked many previous translations verse by verse against accepted Arabic tafsir, and revised the wording accordingly into clear, contemporary English.
That method is what distinguishes it. Rather than translating afresh from the Arabic alone, the team worked from the existing body of English renderings and corrected them against the classical commentaries — producing a text that reads naturally while staying close to what the exegetes established.
It has become one of the most widely used English translations, particularly among converts and in da'wah, because the English is unadorned and does not require the reader to work through archaic phrasing.
