This is a collection of interactive workshops conducted on various topics for Muslim youth. These unique sessions will help introduce our children to some essential topics in Islam, including loving Allah, belief in the Day of Judgment, the responsibilities of marital life and more.
A janazah workshop for young people is rare and badly needed. Most Muslims reach adulthood having attended funerals without knowing what is being done or why, and are then expected to manage one when a parent dies.
The nikah workshop does the same for the other end of life — what marriage actually is in Islamic law, what each party is committing to, and what the contract means. Young people are usually given the rulings on relationships and nothing at all on the thing those rulings are protecting.
Because these are recordings of sessions with young people in the room, asking and answering. A listener hears the questions his own age group actually raised, which is a different experience from hearing a prepared talk.
Originally from Lebanon, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Jibaly is a well-known author and speaker in the English-speaking Muslim world, best known for his series of books on the Muslim family and on the practical fiqh of everyday life.
