The Shaykh states a principle and then lets the Quran and the authentic Sunnah carry the argument. There is very little of his own voice in the book, and that is deliberate.
The categories of monotheism, and at much greater length what breaks them — major and minor shirk, supplication to the dead, amulets, oaths by other than Allah, and excess in venerating the righteous, each with its evidences.
