About the Author
Shaykh Muhammad Nasiruddin Al-Albani was the foremost hadith scholar of the twentieth century, and his method throughout was to test received practice against authentic narration. Some of his conclusions differ from what a reader may have grown up doing, and he sets out his reasoning fully in each case.

Students of knowledge, imams, and any Muslim who has prayed for years by imitation and wants to check that practice against the Sunnah. It is a more advanced study than a step-by-step manual, and it rewards being read slowly.
