The account runs in chronological order through every event of the Prophet's ﷺ life, from his childhood until he was called by the Lord of the universe. The major phases are given their full weight: the migration, the expeditions, and the establishment of an Islamic government founded on honesty, moral standards and a society free of corruption.

What sets these volumes apart from a standard narrative Seerah is that they engage the questions people now argue about, and show what the Prophet ﷺ actually established:

• The rights of the oppressed, and how they were secured
• The liberation of slaves, and the mechanisms Islam built for it

• Human brotherhood, and what amounts to an early league of nations in the treaties and pacts of Madinah
