About the Author
Shaykh Omar Suleiman is a young, widely loved scholar born and raised in Louisiana, known for relating to a Western audience through his character. He is the Founder and President of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies in the Graduate Liberal Studies Program at SMU, Resident Scholar at Valley Ranch Islamic Center, and Co-Chair of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square. He holds degrees in Accounting, Islamic Law, Islamic Finance, and Political History, and is completing a Ph.D. in Islamic Thought and Civilization from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
