Who does not know the classical work of the great Imam An-Nawawi — Riyad-us-Saliheen? This great work has been explained by many scholars of the past and the present. One such explanation is that of the noble imam of our time, Shaykh Salih ibn Al-'Uthaymeen رحمه الله.

In this three-CD set, brother Anas discusses the ahadith mentioned in the chapter of Dhulm. It is an eye-opening discussion for our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Why This Chapter in Particular

Because dhulm is the sin people commit against each other and account for last. Sins against Allah can be repented of directly; a wrong done to another person carries a debt that is settled on the Day of Judgment in the only currency available then — good deeds transferred from the wrongdoer to the wronged.

The narrations in this chapter describe that mechanism plainly, which is what makes them uncomfortable to sit with.

What Counts as Dhulm

Considerably more than most people assume. Not only the obvious injustices, but unpaid wages, broken agreements, taking what is not yours in small amounts, and speaking about people in ways that damage them.

The discussion is described as eye-opening for good reason: most listeners find they are on the wrong side of at least one narration in the chapter.
