Angel Jibra'eel Returns Again

Revelation stopped. For a period the Prophet ﷺ received nothing, and the people of Makkah began to say that his Lord had abandoned him.

Then Jibra'eel عليه السلام returned, with Surah Ad-Duha.

Why This Story for Children

Because it is about waiting, and about the fear that you have been forgotten — which is a feeling children have long before they have words for it.

The surah's answer is direct: your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased. And what is coming is better than what has gone. A child who meets that early has been handed something he will use.
