Three Games, Three Skills

The cards are used in three games developing memory, application and referencing skills — and the progression matters.

Memory establishes what the manners are. Application asks a child to work out which one fits a situation, which is the step most teaching skips. Referencing sends him to the evidence, so he learns that these are not house rules but things with a source.

Along the way the games develop interpersonal and social behavioral skills, which is the point of the subject rather than a side effect.

This Edition

Revised, with short vowels added to the Arabic text so children can read it correctly — a small change that makes the Arabic usable rather than decorative.
