Muslim World - Issue 3

The Islamic new year passes most Muslim households without comment. There is no celebration attached to it, and children generally have no idea it has happened.

This issue takes that gap as its subject — what the Hijri calendar is, why it starts where it does, and why a migration rather than a birth or a battle was chosen as the beginning of Muslim timekeeping.

Alongside it, the regular mix: stories built around a lesson, prophet features, and the puzzles and activities that keep a young reader turning pages.

About the Magazine

Muslim World is a monthly magazine for children and teens aged 7–15, built to strengthen Islamic knowledge, develop character, and give a family something to read and talk about together.

The format is the reason it works. A child who resists a book will finish a magazine without noticing — it gets picked up, dipped into, argued over and passed around, and the next issue is something to look forward to.
