The phrase eid mubarak in Arabic calligraphy — translating as blessed festival, or may your religious holiday be blessed. It is the greeting Muslims exchange on the two Eids, and it is what is on the stamp.

First issued in 2001, the Eid stamp was a genuine landmark — a national postal service placing Arabic calligraphy and a Muslim festival alongside the other holidays it recognizes.
