Some scholars throughout Muslim history have penned their respective compilations of the Forty Hadith. Imam al-Ajurri’s Kitab Al-Arba'in Hadithan is among the earliest. About the Author
Imam Abu Bakr Al-Ajurri (d. 360 AH) was born in Baghdad, which was at its height a centre of learning. He was a great Hadith master and a legal jurist, well-known for his devout worship, piety, and exemplary character, and was reputed as an ardent follower of the Sunnah.
