This profound presentation discusses Evil in our world from its origin, how it affects us at the present, and what could result from it in the future. People who believe in God turn away from that belief. How? When personal tragedy strikes, people try to find reason and rhymes to their tragedy, and often times end up rejecting God. Do you know someone who has made this mistake? It is commonly misunderstood that Satan became a disbeliever because of his disobedience of Allah. If so, does any type of disobedience make you a disbeliever? Then what of Adam, who also disobeyed God? Is he a disbeliever? What exactly brings one to disbelief? If God is so powerful, why does evil exist? Why is there so much emphasis on Evil rather than Good? Does pleasure in this life necessarily coincide with punishment in the next? Why are some prone to suffering while others are untouched? This discussion presents the concept of Evil and how one can deal with it realistically.

Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips was born in Jamaica but grew up in Canada, where he accepted Islam in 1972.
