Dua can be defined as any invocation or prayer addressed to Allah (SWT) and is the most intimate ritual acts between the servant and his Lord.
In our times, we find many reasons why people do not make Dua, either they forget, don't know how, or just do not think it will be answered. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi)
This book deals with invocation (Dua) and its conditions, described in detail is the correct manner of supplicating to Allah (swt) on order to be accepted by Allah (swt). The author outlines the topic using evidenced from the Quran and Prophetic traditions (Sunnah) to bring the reader closer to Allah (swt).
Also outlined are the prohibited forms of invocating and supplicating to distinguish between the Mubah (permissible) and the Haram (prohibited) forms of making Dua.
